Today in Maths we were learning about Exponents and what they are. A exponent refers to the number of times a number is multiplied by itself. For example the 3rd (written like this: 2³) means: 2 times 2 times 2 = 8.

Find Select and Retrieve Information DLO

Today my Reading group and I have been learning about Find Select and retrieve information. We got a website about monkeys and we had to answer the questions on the doc. I enjoyed doing this work because it helped me learn how to Find Select and Retrieve Information.
                             

Finding Keywords DLO

This is my Reading work I did and it was Find Keywords. Mr Walker gave us a website and we had to find keywords. Doing this activity was kind of easy because we had to answer who, what, where, why, when and how. I recommend this would be good for year 6's, 7's and 8's.

This week Room 9 and I set ourselves a goal for Term 1 2019. We went on e-asTTle and then went into Reports to find our level. When we found it we took a screenshot of it and put it into a slide.

This week my class and I have been setting goals from our Maths, Reading and Writing tests.
The first thing we did is go on to e-asTTle then we went into our reports to find our levels.
When we found it we put our levels into a slide and what our goal was to achieve for Term 1 2019.
