Personally, I treasure a trumpet because it is really important for me to look after because it is history to my family. I actually don't know when my family got the trumpet but all I know is that it went from generation to generation until now. My family mostly plays instruments. So I am grateful that we have this trumpet.

Yusra and her older sister were in Syria where the war was. They quickly took off with a journey to find safety in Europe. My mum works at home. She sews pacific clothes but mostly Tongan clothes for other people.
My mum's work at home has actually impacted my life and my family. My dad was the only one working for us but now my mum is helping him by working here at home. She inspires us to work like her. So I love that my parents are working hard for us to eat and get warm.
SPECIAL THANKS TO SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY
ReplyDeleteTēnā koe Tufui,
Thank you for completing all of the week one, day five activities! I really enjoyed reading about your mum and how her work has impacted you and your family. She sounds like a fantastic role model :)
For the first and third activities, I need to see more information in order to give you the full points. The first activity asks you to share three things that you treasure and say why they are treasures to you.
Here is a great example: https://wistoeumut.blogspot.com/2019/12/week-1-physical-limits-day-5-against.html
The third activity asks you to retell the story of Yusra Mardini. It is important to remember that anything you post online must be put into your own words. In order to receive full points for this activity, could you please re-read the activity and create a blog post using your own words.
