Activity 2: One Small Step For A Man [4 points]
Moon, Moon, Moon
Your a friend of mine,
I like when you brightly shine,
As I walk peacefully I see the earth bright and green,
When I jump I see squeaky clean,
You feel like my TRAMPOLINE!
Activity 3: Miracle on the Hudson
If you know me, I am a loud and noisy person but I am not that brave. My best-friend was getting bullied from these girls and I felt sorry and I had to do something about it. In my head I was saying "Tufui you have a mouth say something" but I was scared that they might bully me but my friend was the one in trouble. So I stood up for her and I told the girls to leave my friend alone and stop being mean. When we arrived to school they went and my friend went home. For the first time I felt brave and I should keep on doing that.
SPECIAL THANKS TO SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY!!!

ReplyDeleteHello tufui!
I Really like your poem because it has a good rhythm. This reminds me of when I did a poem in my class earlier this year! Maybe next time you could add a photo of the moon.

ReplyDeleteHii again,
I promise this is the last time I comment on your blog today hehe, I really like how you were standing up for you're best friend! It's really caring to do something like that. This reminds me of when me and my old class from last year were learning how to stop people from bullying others! Maybe next time you could add a photo or video!
Blog ya later,
Toe'umu

ReplyDeleteNamaste Tufui, how is your day going today?
I see you’ve done all of the day two activities - ka pai! What was your favourite one? I can tell you’ve put a lot of thought and effort into this post :)
Firstly, thanks for creating a clear and informative venn diagram and for sharing those facts about Jean Batten or Amelia Earhart - they were both pretty amazing women weren’t they!? Did you know that Jean would take a silk dress with her on her flights, so that she could look beautiful wherever she landed! I reckon that’s pretty cool! If you could only take one thing on a flight, what would it be?
Secondly, I think your poem is fantastic! It shows you’ve really thought about how it’ll sound when someone reads it out loud, and it's really clever how you’ve made it rhyme! If you had the chance to go to the moon, would you go?
Thirdly, thanks for sharing your bravery story, it can be really hard to be an active bystander (that is when someone steps into a harmful situation and does something to help, like what you did in this situation when your friend was being bullied) so it’s awesome that you decided to help. It sounds like you were super brave and your friend is lucky to have you! Just make sure that when you’re being an active bystander, that it is safe for you as well :)
Thanks for making a fantastic post, keep up the awesome mahi!
Eliza :)
Tālofa Lava Tufui,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Kueni and I am one of the blog commenters working with the Summer Learning Journey(SLJ) this summer. How have your school holidays been so far?
What a lovely blog post you have put together here today, you have put so much effort and time into each and every one of the 3 activities you have completed in this blog post. I personally really enjoyed reading your poem about being up on the moon, you have used some great descriptive words and also great use of rhyming.
As you know all good things must come to an end and next week Friday the 24th of January, the SLJ programme ends for this summer. Before it ends it would be so great to see some more awesome blog posts just like this one, you have plenty of time so hopefully you will have time to jump on a do a few more.
Remember the more activities you do, the more points you get towards getting some epic prizes!
Tofā,
Kueni :)
